This coffee was grown in the Goru Muda sub-area of Harsu Haro Muda kebele, or village, in Guji's Uraga district, by local smallholder producers. Harsu Haro Muda is remote and especially difficult to reach during the rainy season. Located between 30 and 90 minutes away from the washing station, producers transport their coffee using horses, mules or donkeys. These farmers belong to the Oromo people and speak Oromiffa—they are widely respected for their deep knowledge, hard work and exceptional quality.
